Elegoo PLA is made for makers who want reliable, high-quality results without unnecessary complications. Manufactured to a tight ±0.02 mm tolerance, this 1.75 mm filament promotes smooth, consistent extrusion on most modern FDM 3D printers. Red PLA delivers a bold, saturated finish that stands out clearly, making it well suited to high-visibility prototypes, decorative prints, and functional safety-related parts.
Produced from biodegradable, plant-based materials, Elegoo PLA is an environmentally conscious filament that is also straightforward to print. Its low shrinkage and strong layer adhesion help minimise warping and build-plate failures, providing dependable results from the first layer to the completed print.
Every 1 kg spool is automatically wound onto a recyclable paper spool to help prevent tangles and interrupted filament feeding. After production, it is vacuum-sealed with desiccant to limit moisture exposure. Whether you are new to 3D printing or running regular production work, Elegoo PLA provides stable dimensions and a smooth, vibrant finish for a wide variety of everyday applications.

Ready to start creating? Elegoo PLA is ideal for custom electronics enclosures, architectural models, cosplay components, and practical everyday items. It provides a clean, professional finish directly from the build plate, helping your printer deliver consistent results with less effort.
Please Note:
Moisture Sensitivity: PLA is generally less sensitive to moisture than materials such as PETG, but it may still absorb humidity over time. Keep unused filament in a sealed dry box or airtight bag with silica gel.
Maintenance: If the filament has been exposed to ambient air for an extended period, dry it in a filament dryer at 50 °C for 4–8 hours. This can help restore print quality and reduce brittleness, stringing, and surface blobs.
