Elegoo Rapid PETG is designed for makers who want to increase printing speed without giving up strength and durability. Developed for high-speed printing of up to 600 mm/s, it combines PLA’s user-friendly printability with PETG’s strong impact and tensile properties. Black Rapid PETG creates a clean, professional-looking finish for durable structural parts that may be exposed to mechanical stress and occasional impacts.
Built for practical applications, this material offers good resistance to water, UV exposure, and many common chemicals. This makes it suitable for parts used indoors as well as selected outdoor applications, such as enclosures and functional components. Its thermal formability also allows printed parts to be carefully heat-formed or bent where a design requires further adjustment.
Each filament spool is mechanically wound to support smooth, tangle-resistant feeding, then dried and vacuum-sealed to limit moisture exposure. With low shrinkage and a stated ±0.02 mm dimensional tolerance, Elegoo Rapid PETG is formulated to provide consistent extrusion and dependable results throughout fast-paced print jobs.
Functional Printing with Elegoo Rapid PETG Filament
High-Speed Printing: Supports print speeds of up to 600 mm/s on suitably capable printers, helping improve output and production efficiency.
Durable PETG Performance: Offers easy printability alongside strong impact and tensile performance for functional, long-lasting parts.
Weather & Chemical Resistance: Suitable for applications where parts may encounter water, UV exposure, or common chemicals, including outdoor enclosures and workshop components.
Thermal Formability: Printed parts can be carefully heat-formed or bent to suit certain functional design requirements.
Exceptional Accuracy & Flow: Manufactured to a ±0.02 mm tolerance to support consistent extrusion, low shrinkage, and reduced warping.
Ready to increase your production speed? Rapid PETG is well suited to outdoor enclosures, functional brackets, robotics chassis, and high-strength rapid prototypes. It provides a durable, clean finish while supporting fast and dependable printing.
Please Note:
Moisture Sensitivity: PETG readily absorbs moisture, which can lead to stringing, popping, and surface defects—especially at higher printing speeds. Store unused filament in a sealed dry box or airtight bag with silica gel.
Maintenance: If the filament has been exposed to ambient air for an extended period, dry it at 65 °C for 6–8 hours to help restore consistent flow and reduce moisture-related print defects.
